Road tripping memories - this one from Death Valley in eastern California in 2015. We drove to this location in Panamjnt Springs after dark and stayed at a lodge which was also a petrol (or gas!) station in the middle of the desert. We woke to an amazing sunrise with the light flooding across the basin in the distance turning the misty blue haze bright red.
